Robert Nkemdiche and Laquon Treadwell are top Freshmen in EA Sports NCAA 2014

So if you didn't expect them to compete for playing time early, then think again!

USA TODAY Sports

Tradition Sports Online has another leak of EA Sports NCAA information, and this one's an exciting one for us video gaming Rebels. Robert Nkemdiche and Laquon Treadwell are the two highest rated freshmen players in the game, with the two sporting ratings of 84 and 83 overall respectively.

Nkemdiche is rated as 81 of 99 in speed, 84 in bullrush, 84 in play recognition, 82 in acceleration, 82 in pursuit, 78 in agility, and 77 in tackling(?), among others.

Treadwell is rated as 95 out of 99 in acceleration(!), 93 in speed(!), 88 in stamina, 85 in agility, 83 in jump, 80 in catch, among others.

Laquon Treadwell is possibly the best receiver in the game for Ole Miss already - we're not sure what Donte Moncrief's ratings are - and should be a lot of fun to play with. Nkemdiche will be a serviceable lineman in year one, and should blossom into a dominant player as the seasons progress.

Also of note is that Tony Connor is rated as being 81 overall and the 19th best freshman player in the game, so Ole Miss has three of the top 25 freshmen in the game, and not one of them is Leremy Tunsil.
