The Ole Miss baseball team will be in Raleigh, North Carolina this weekend, as the No. 2 seed in the regional hosted by the North Carolina State Wolfpack. The No. 3 seed is William and Mary, and the No. 4 is Binghamton. (Hey, what's a "Binghamton" you ask? It's a school in upstate New York.)
This regional is paired with the Eugene regional, with the Oregon Ducks earning the national seed. Rice is the No. 2 seed in that regional, so if the Rebels can escape Raleigh with a Super Regional berth, chances are we're in Oregon or Texas thereafter.
We will have previews of all three of the regional opponents coming shortly, as well as a "what to do in Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill" type of guide from Juco and Whiskey Wednesday, who are just pleased as a pair of peaches to have Ole Miss Rebel baseball within hollerin' distance of their domiciles.
