Reginald Buckner, Murphy Holloway, and Nick Williams will all depart Oxford as SEC Basketball Tournament Champs,which is nice. Of course, we'd have loved to have seen them in the Sweet Sixteen but, alas, madness happens. Murph and Buckner leave the program as the all time leading rebounder and shot blocker, respectively.

Looks like we're in the heat of yet another 'crootin battle. One of the top high school halfbacks for 2014 recently announced his interest in Ole Miss (and LSU, Alabama, Oregon and Georgia - of course). Thomas is from Oxford, AL, which is also the hometown of Ole Miss safety Trae Elston.

We're five practices in to the spring and already newcomers such as Lavon Hooks and Nickolas Brassell are earning high praise. Defense is wont to dominate the offense in spring ball, but it's good to see that our newcomers are progressing well.
