Ole Miss Rebels Win 2013 Southeastern Conference Tournament Title

We're off the bubble now, Joe. Deal with it, Wes Rucker.

Behind 40 second half points, the Ole Miss Rebels beat the Florida Gators 66 to 63 to win the 2013 SEC Men's Basketball Tournament championship and ensure a berth in the big dance. This will be Ole Miss' first invite to the NCAA Tournament since 2002. This is also the second SEC Tournament Championship in Rebel basketball history, with the prior title coming in 1981.

We will have more coverage of this soon, but we're going to eat savory foods and drink expensive whiskies. That's how we celebrate an SEC championship 'round these parts. Once we get our NCAA tournament seeding and opponent, we will give you whatever update you're expecting.

But, before we sign off, just marinate in this image. Hoisting the SEC Tournament MVP trophy high, Marshall Henderson is reported to have shouted "I'm a second teamer!" Marshall, you may be on the SEC's second team per the coaches, but you're a first teamer in our hearts.

Hotty Toddy.
