Ole Miss disposes of LSU men, 81-67 | The Advocate
With a convincing win over LSU in Baton Rouge this past weekend, the Rebels finished the regular season with 12 SEC wins. Sadly, with the SEC being what it is this season, that most likely will not be enough to get this team into the dance, meaning that they'll have to play well in the SEC Tournament which begins this weekend in Nashville.

Ole Miss will have bye into Friday | Ole Miss sports
Being the #3 seed in the conference means that the Rebels are given byes all the way into the quarterfinals (it's odd, we know, but that's what happens when you try to create a 14-team tournament). We will either play Texas A&M, Auburn, or Missouri on Friday at 9:00 PM Central. A win there gets us closer to being off the bubble and in a match against either Kentucky, Arkansas, or Vanderbilt. A win there gets us into the conference championship game, which would be against one of the seven SEC teams not yet mentioned (so, Florida) and a win there is, as you know, an automatic trip to the big dance.
Former Ole Miss NT Pena has a good shot at NFL | The Clarion-Ledger
I like watching Ole Miss Rebel footballers get drafted, which means that this year's crop is a bit disappointing, but considering that we only really had one senior or junior with draft potential on this team last season can be spun into a good premonition for the future. So there's that. Oh, and best of luck to Gilbert Peña.

The Rebels were down 8-4 before a 5-run 7th inning gave them the 9-4 margin of victory needed to get their fourth straight weekend sweep on the year. Here are some highlights of that rally from the Ole Miss Sports mothership:
No. 9 Rebels take down No. 10 Vols | OleMissSports.com
The Ole Miss mens netters are 4-0 in SEC play on the season thus far after completing a huge weekend in Oxford with wins over No. 10 Tennessee and No. 7 Georgia. As per the usual, there are a lot of talented tennis teams in the SEC this year, but our Rebels are playing as well as anybody right now.
