After snapping a two-year losing streak to Middle Tennessee over the weekend, the Ole Miss basketball team looks to keep the momentum going against Louisiana-Monroe Wednesday evening in Oxford.
The only thing remarkable about Monroe's 3-2 record is that it consists of only five games (the Rebs are 7-2). What the hell have you guys been doing for the last 5½ weeks? Has a new season of Duck Dynasty started or something?
Their two losses are rather excusable. The first was an 80-63 pummeling at the hands of No. 5 Kansas in Andrew Wiggins's collegiate debut, and the second was a seven-point loss to a 6-2 LSU squad. They've recorded wins over Samford, Northwestern State and Thomas (I don't what or where the hell Thomas is, but they don't even have a logo on their ESPN page).
