Cornerback Kendarius Webster Commits to Ole Miss

The Georgia high school prospect pledged his commitment to the Rebels today.

Fire up the bass fishing metaphors, because Hugh Freeze and his staff have reeled in another highly sought after football prospect.

Webster has been a guy on the Rebels' radar for quite a while it seems, as cornerback is a major need (the major need?) for this recruiting class.

A Georgia native, Webster is listed as 5'10.5" and 177 pounds by 247Sports, and has been clocked running a 4.5-second 40. He has offers from LSU, Clemson, Georgia, Florida State and others. ESPN and Rivals have him listed as a three-star prospect, while Scout and 247Sports have him at four - let's just split the difference then, and say he's a 3.5 star guy. He will visit the Ole Miss campus in January during the final big recruiting weekend before National Signing Day.
