Upset alert: Mizzou facing tough road test in Ole Miss | KMOV
KMOV warns that, for Missouri, this game "is winnable, but fans should not expect a cake walk." As a corollary, I would caution overly confident Ole Miss fans as well. This is going to be a very tough test for both teams on Saturday.
James Franklin listed as Missouri's starter against Ole Miss | CBSSports.com
Of course a top-10 team's starting quarterback would return from a shoulder injury during the same week that his team is scheduled to play Ole Miss. Of course. It only makes sense that way. (Even then, Maty Mauk ain't a slouch either. Dave Wommack will certainly have his defense as prepared for both as he can have them.)
Ole Miss bringing on Brunetti's arm | The Clarion-Ledger
Speaking of capable backup quarterbacks in the SEC, it has been really enjoyable watching Barry Brunetti improve so much as the season has gone alone. The offense works very well while he is in the game and, since he is such a legitimate running threat, the passing game opens up a bit too. He's not nearly as polished a passer as Bo Wallace, but he has shown the ability to keep the chains moving which, really, is all we can ask for. On the year he has thrown for 286 yards and six scores (with zero picks) while rushing for 252 yards and four touchdowns. Combined, he and Bo Wallace have been responsible for 3,434 yards and 31 touchdowns through ten games.
