Scout.com's Chuck Rounsaville is reporting that...
Ole Miss frosh TE Evan Engram will have to have surgery on his ankle/foot. He will miss the rest of the season.

Well, this isn't exactly great news. Engram has been a real surprise for Ole Miss fans, as he has contributed right away as a true freshman tight end/flex receiver. At 6'3" and 220 pounds, he has given Bo Wallace yet another big target to connect with in the Rebel passing attack. He as also proven an adept blocker, particularly on the edge in running situations. On the season, he has 20 receptions for 265 yards (13.3 yards per catch) and three touchdowns. Before leaving the LSU game last night, Engram caught two balls for 28 yards.
We do not yet know the exact nature of his injury, but what looked like a high ankle sprain during the game is now requiring surgery. Obviously we wish Engram a speedy and full recovery, and hope that somebody can step up and fill in for a significant position of need in this offense.
