Friday Question: Because Tuesday Was a Really Busy Day

Generally, we are the "authors" of "content" around here - "here" being a blog and not a message board. Recognize, we do, that you've come here not to contribute, but to consume. Nevertheless, there is the sporadic occasion where, either for our benefit or for to exercise the thinkifiers of the masses, we ask you a question. Today's question is . . .

USA TODAY Sports

What will be this team's SEC record heading into the conference tournament?

Right now, the Rebs are 3-0 in the SEC. They are hoping to improve to 4-0 after a win against Arkansas at home this Saturday. That leaves fourteen SEC games before the conference tournament in a schedule that shakes out thusly:

  • vs. Tennessee
  • at Auburn
  • vs. Kentucky
  • at Florida
  • vs. State
  • at Mizzou
  • at. TAMU
  • vs. Georgia
  • at Sakerlina
  • vs. Auburn
  • vs. TAMU
  • at State
  • vs. Alabama
  • at LSU
Yeah, it's a little strange to only play Alabama and LSU once while playing Mizzou and Tennessee twice, but whatever. There are no more divisions in SEC basketball, something that I haven't yet gotten used to I suppose. Regardless, I could see this team finishing anywhere from 8-6 to 16-2 in conference. I'm excited about their potential, but I remain wholly unconvinced of their bonafides just yet.

What say you?
