The Rebs didn't look great doing it, but they still made it look pretty easy by scoring 26 points in the first quarter alone on the way to a 39-0 shutout of the Tulane Green Wave. That was the first shutout Ole Miss has notched since the 2008 Egg Bowl.

Tulane's players wore number 18 on all of their helmets and our Ole Miss Rebels wore "DW" decals on the backs of their helmets in honor of injured Tulane safety Devon Walker. Fans and coaches were also seen wearing number 18 tee shirts throughout the Superdome on Saturday. It's tough to imagine what the Tulane fans, coaches, and players are going through, but it was very encouraging to see so much support sent their way.
