Hey everybody! Alabama's number one! And Arkansas is unranked! Is anybody surprised? Of course not. Here's the BlogPoll for this week:
Results for Week 2
SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2011
As you'll see, there's not too much controversy here. Follow this link for a more robust analysis of the votes and voters, where you'll see once again that the Cup isn't noteworthy enough for either boring or whack balloting. A good thing, right?
In addition to the BlogPoll is the SEC Power Poll, the full results and analysis of which can be found here. The main take away from this week's power pollin' is that Alabama and LSU remain the best in the West, Georgia remains best in the East, voters aren't ready to discredit Arkansas just yet (why the hell not?), and WE'RE NOT LAST!
And now for your weekend in review from SB Nation.com:
- There's Bill C's numerical, which looks at just how stunningly awful Auburn's offense has been so far.
- There's Spencer Hall's alphabetical, which was kicked off with this gif:
Good on you, State. We're happy to see you confronting Mississippi's obesity epidemic one fat, stupid, sloppy, quadrupedal sack of skin at a time. [Again, this is you friendly reminder that the bulldog is indeed an inferior breed of dog, as in it's one notch above pug on the "breeds of dog that are the worst at everything" scale.]
- And finally there is This Week in Schadenfreude which features, as you'd expect, the Arkansas Razorbacks. Enjoy at your own risk.
