A four-star defensive tackle prospect per Rivals.com, Christopher Robinson of Shreveport's Woodlawn High School has chosen Ole Miss over Mississippi State and Auburn. Listed at 6'2", 270lb, Robinson is rated as the #13 defensive tackle prospect in the nation.
Aside from that, though, my knowledge of Robinson is, admittedly, quite limited. He's a name I hadn't even heard of until Juco mentioned it to me last night, and his lack of an LSU offer leads me to believe that there are other Louisianans in his position that Les Miles and company are pursuing (if there's one thing Louisiana has a surplus on, it's high school defensive tackles), but none of that disqualifies him from being a legitimate SEC-caliber defender.
This commitment marks Hugh Freeze's fourth public commitment, his second from the state of Louisiana (New Orleans' Eugene Brazley is the other), and his first with four or more stars per the Rivals recruiting service.
