US PRESSWIRE

We're late, but it's not like you noticed.
Well, you wouldn't have if you're an Ole Miss student at least. "Finals are over bro so I, like, don't have to wake up and go places 'n' shit." True, and I envy you, because those of us older than 22 don't have that life. (Okay, I do, in T-minus two days, but you get my point.)

Ole Miss gives Freeze extension, $500,000 raise | TheState.com
Coach Freeze will now make $2M a year in base salary, with incentives to come with SEC and bowl victories. Also in the works is a $12.5M upgrade to the IPF which will include a new meeting room, a new dining hall which will be open to the entire university population, and an expanded weight room.

Recruiting: Ole Miss commit Jones getting an earful at Classic | The Clarion-Ledger | clarionledger.com

Ole Miss' Henderson cooling off after his hot start | The Clarion-Ledger
Despite leading the team with 17.1 points per game, Rebel shooting guard Marshall Henderson has seen a drop off in production as of late. He struggled mightily in draining the long ball against MTSU - one of many factors which cost the Rebels the victory - before coming into his form against East Tennessee State where he scored 22 points in 29 minutes to give the Rebs the victory.

Pittsburgh, Ole Miss enter BBVA Compass Bowl with momentum | AL.com
The Compass Bowl this year will feature two 6-6 teams, one from the SEC and the other from the Big East. So the SEC has totally got this one, right? Wrong, and you know that. Pitt played a heck of a schedule themselves, and should be a handful for Ole Miss.
