Rebel Roundup - November 28, 2012

We've got more Ole Miss Rebel news and notes for y'all this week.

Spruce Derden-US PRESSWIRE

Wallace wins Conerly Trophy | The Sun Herald
While the Conerly Trophy is about as controversial in the Heisman in terms of who receives the award over whom, it's pretty fantastic to see Bo Wallace or, really, any Ole Miss player win it this season. It is especially exciting to see Wallace win over Johnthan Banks, if only for the purposes of Schadenfreude.

Fine coming for Ole Miss after Egg Bowl celebration | The Clarion-Ledger
First of all, why all of the rules, SEC? And second, I'm sure Bjork cut the check for this one with a big smile on his face.

Murphy Holloway one of the SEC Men's Basketball Players Of The Week |
During our wins over McNeese State and Lipscomb, Murphy averaged 19 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals. Congrats to Big Murph on the award.

One Of World's Best Joins Rebel Netters |
The United Nations that typifies the Ole Miss Men's tennis program grows and diversifies, as Karim Hossam, a native of Egypt, has joined the team. Hossam has been ranked as high as number 11 in the ITF world junior rankings, and has participated in all four of the world junior grand slams, including a solid performance in the 2012 Australian Open.
