I don't want to talk about how, last night, we blew a double-digit lead at home to an SEC opponent in the fourth quarter for the second time this season.
I don't want to talk about how we simply have been figured out offensively. I don't want to talk about how Donte Moncrief has been covered pretty well over the past few weeks. I don't want to talk about how our read-option run game, which worked so well at the beginning of the season, has been terribly impotent as of late.
I don't want to talk about how we do not have the depth necessary in the secondary to reliably contain opposing receivers. I don't want to talk about how we don't have the personnel necessary to run a powerful rushing offense. I don't want to talk about the issues of inexperience that spring up all over the field for us.
I don't want to talk about how there's a damn solid chance we do not go bowling this year. I don't want to talk about how upsetting it is that this team first exceeded our expectations, thus raising our expectations, only to then fall short of our expectations.
I don't want to talk about how, again, with something important on the line, an Ole Miss Rebel sports team fell short. I don't want to talk about how we all could have seen this coming from miles away, but didn't think it would, again, happen. I don't want to talk about how, regardless of who leads our athletic programs, we are Ole Miss, and fate and fortune simply do not like us.
