LSU men's basketball teams races past Ole Miss 81-55 | NOLA.com
Losing to LSU in itself isn't terribly embarrassing. This is one of their more talented teams in recent memory and Trent Johnson seems to have a handle on what it takes for this particular squad to win, while we're a team which recently dismissed its highest scorer; but to lose to the Bayou Bengals by 20+ points and never, at any point in the contest, be "in" the game is downright shameful. Could this be the beginning of the end of Andy Kennedy's tenure as the Ole Miss head basketball coach?

3-point shot: Ole Miss shuffles lineup | College Basketball Nation Blog - ESPN
Per ESPN's Eammon Brennon, Andy Kennedy said Jelan Kendrick will be expected to replace Dundrecous Nelson, despite his limited game time, persistent sit-outs due to "coaches decisions", and sports hernia issues. Please, Jalen, just play like we expect you to.

Channing Ward Commits To Ole Miss Rebels | SBNation.com
Older news that we've already covered, to be sure, but it's good news, dammit. Bud Elliott, SBNation's recruiting guru, covered the Under Armor All-American game for the network, and came away impressed with Channing Ward, the #1 player in the State of Mississippi per Rivals.com

Report: Ole Miss loses RT Massie to NFL | CBSSports.com
I would love to see Massie stick around for his senior season, but if he's out of here then that's fine, I suppose. Have fun in Canada, Bobby.

Lockett To Compete In East-West Shrine Game | OleMissSports.com
Good on you, Ol' Forty. While we all know Kentrell has had some trouble post ACL-tear, he's a guy we at the Cup genuinely wish to see succeed in everything. Let's hope a good showing in this game could land him on an NFL roster.
