Ole Miss Rebels blame complacency for 2010 defensive disaster | Veazey
Kyle Veazey's back to hating Ole Miss and besmirching her fair name in the press. Why, he even has the audacity to point out our defense's record-settingly horrific performance last season with "numbers" and "quotes" and things. Sheesh. /EotC'd

Ole Miss looks to improve as Bolden runs behind experienced line | al.com
I'm not going to say that he's the best back in the SEC, but I do not think there is a guy in this conference who does more for his team than Brandon Bolden. In terms of offensive firepower and identity, he's basically it right now for the Rebels. AL.com's Mark McCarter points out that, if our Rebs are to improve this season, a huge year should be expected out of Bolden.

Rebs' Campbell aims to improve | The Clarion-Ledger | clarionledger.com
Tyler Campbell led the nation in punting average during 2010, his sophomore season. He averaged 46.4 yards per punt, which is the third most in Ole Miss history. Despite this, Campbell didn't even sniff the Ray Guy award, let alone all-American honors. His numbers, regarding downed punts, touchbacks, and punts which land in the red zone were, unsurprisingly, quite low. The guy's got a hell of a boot, but needs to work on his accuracy and touch this season, something which he and Special Teams Coordinator Shibest have been doing all offseason.

David Saunders Sues Ole Miss | Commercial Appeal
David Saunders, who you'll remember was an instrumental cog in Ed Orgeron's recruiting machine (it was very much like Pee Wee Herman's breakfast machine), is no longer employed by Ole Miss. This hurt his feelings or something, so he's suing the school. I'm sure there's a lot more to it than that, but I'll let our resident lawyers get on this one before I take any further stabs at it.
