Nutt, Freeze opposites in costs per win | USATODAY.com
Here's something interesting that, while entirely intuitive, is something few of us have likely thought of. Houston Nutt was paid $2.7ish million to win two games; Hugh Freeze was paid just under $200K to win ten. When looking at all FBS coaches, they're literally on the opposite ends of the spectrum of coaches regarding their salaries as they relate to number of football games they won.

The self-proclaimed "Independent Voice of College Basketball" feels Ole Miss is the fifth best team in the SEC at this juncture. I'll take it.

Ole Miss Invited To Hawaii Tournament In 2012 | University of Mississippi Official Athletic Site
I'm sure this is old news to a few of you, but this is the first I've seen of this. Ole Miss will be playing in the Hawai'ian Airlines Diamond Head Classic basketball tournament next season. Also in this tournament will be Arizona, SDSU, Hawai'i, Miami (FL), San Francisco and Texas Tech, as well as one more team yet to be announced.
