#Wintheparty we will, as Red Tent Rebellion makes its final appearance for 2011. I will be there, along with One Man to Beat, Ivory Tower, Juco All-American, and maybe even Sir Francis Drank and Whiskey Wednesday. The usual FotC's and WotC's will be there because, without them, we wouldn't have the vittles and libations necessary to keep people like me happy.
I, along with my brother, will be debuting a red beans and rice recipe we sorta made up over the phone last week (it has smoked duck in it - get ready). I will also be buying plenty of party liquor with the blollars we've made off of things like making fun of Houston Nutt and lamenting our football woes. We'll try to keep people fat and happy like any good Mississippians should.
We require no contributions from anyone wishing to stop by and chat for a spell, but we are never the type to turn down free anything, so don't be shy if you, I dunno, feel like you owe it to us or something. We will be at the tent an hour-and-a-half-ish before kickoff and will linger there a little while after the game. We will also be there intermittently throughout the afternoon but we, like you, have friends and family and friends-of-the-family to visit with. Y'all know how it is.
Here's the map for those of y'all who haven't been before. We, per Ivory Tower, are situated "between the chain and the lane" just north of where the Pride of the South warms up.
Tweet at us if you get lost. Holler.
