Nevertheless, there is the sporadic occasion where, either for our benefit or for to exercise the thinkifiers of the masses, we ask you a question. Today's question is ...
What headline do you want to see Brandt write on Sunday?
Saturday the Rebels hold a public scrimmage. Assuming the first team plays the first team, it will be the first such exhibition Rebel fans have seen, since Coach Houston Nutt likes to play the first team against the cheerleaders in the Spring Game.
After weeks and weeks of Masoli coverage, Brandt tweeted on Sunday, "Jeremiah Masoli looked solid in his first practice. Some good throws and some bad. Nutt seemed pleased." Hearing something truly positive about Masoli would be pretty exciting. Of course, so would "Offensive Line Looks Solid," since I have faith that the Defensive Line will not be taking days off. "(Enrique Davis and/or Brandon Bolden) Breaks For Three Touchdowns," would be an exciting headline. So would "Damien Jackson, Charles Sawyer Shine For the Secondary."
