I know it's just a profile picture, but could he have a
more awkward facial expression?

Jeremy Baltz is a frightening freshman who has been lighting it up with his bat all year long. Baltz is hitting .393 on the year, having started all 58 games as a left fielder. On the year, the 6'3" phenom hit 20 home runs in 224 at bats; That number is good for a slugging percentage of .741. Seriously. He's just nasty.

Baltz was drafted in the 45th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft by the New York Yankees but chose to go to school instead. Based on his numbers as a true freshman, the decision will likely pay off. In case any of you are interested, here's a link to his wicked-awesome high school basketball card.

So, having reached the conclusion that he's going to get a lot of hits, let's be sure to get into situations where he has a chance to win the game with runners on base. I mean, hell, it will happen even if we don't plan it, right?
