Alabama vs. Ole Miss Will be At Night on an ESPN Network |
Saw some mumblings regarding this on the Twitters yesterday, and it apparently seems true enough. The Ole Miss vs. Alabama game will be on either ESPN2 or ESPNU during an evening or night slot on Saturday the 16th. That's exciting because it means I can a) sleep in and b) eat and drink a whole lot more than I have been on Saturdays. It also means I will likely be destroying a television at the Ole Miss watchin' bar in DC after Alabama goes up by 20 in the 2nd quarter.

Kentucky Wildcat Football: Frustrating Fans | A Sea of Blue
I'm sure it was pretty frustrating to watch that game as a Kentucky fan, but I still don't so much want to hear about it. Regarding frustration, and not just with football, we're the guys with no feet. Kentucky's just the guy with no shoes.

Where Should the Georgia Bulldogs Turn if Mark Richt Must Replace Mike Bobo as Offensive Coordinator? | Dawg Sports
Who does Mr. Mayor suggest as a possible replacement for Georgia OC Mike Bobo? Mike Markuson, no less.

The Rebels currently rank 16th in the country in rushing offense, one notch ahead of Alabama, and Mississippi ranked in the top 30 nationally in that category in 2008 and 2009 after finishing 83rd in the nation in 2007, the year before Coach Markuson’s arrival in Oxford. The Rebels currently boast the country’s 19th-best scoring offense, one notch ahead of Auburn. With previous coaching stops in Alabama, Arkansas, and Mississippi, Coach Markuson ought to have no trouble making the transition to Georgia.

Interesting. I will say though, Markuson is more-or-less in love with Houston Dale, so I don't think he's going anywhere Count Giggty doesn't.
