Rebel Leader | The Clarion-Ledger
While although technically a second-stringer, sophomore linebacker and fast fan favorite D.T. Shackleford has proven his worth as a leader both on and off the field. And here's what we and the coaches mean by that: as a sophomore backup, he's second on the team in tackles for a loss, as well as the proud owner of a 4.0 GPA. I remember when we got him to switch his commitment from Tennessee to Ole Miss (he apparently saw the Lane Kiffin failure written on the wall way before most players), and people told us that we had gotten a great talent and, unlike many blue chip recruits we land, he has yet to disappoint.

Ole Miss Commits Visiting Elsewhere |
Gerrod Holliman and Andrew Johnson, Rebel recruits at defensive back out of the Miami area (and high school teammates) are going to visit Louisville, softening their commitments to Ole Miss. Look, I said after the Jacksonville State game that I wouldn't at all hold it against 'croots who decided to look elsewhere, but Louisville? Louisville? They must really dig Charlie Strong or something.
