Touted recruit Thompson chooses Ole Miss | The Clarion-Ledger
Carlos Thompson, the number two overall prospect on The Clarion-Ledger’s 10 Most Wanted list of Magnolia State recruits and a four star per Rivals, will play ball for our Rebels.  The Cup welcomes Carlos who is not only kin to the former Auburn All-SEC defensive end Quentin Groves, but a damn strong prospect.  When approached for comment, Spirit McRivalsposter said "Ha yeah suck it leghumpers theres blood in the water and the new breed of LANDSHARKS are in Oxford!!1"

Senior Bowl Day Two: Rising & Falling | Scout.com
Scout.com's NFL Draft analysts and writers have been watching the Senior Bowl practices and have come away impressed with the Ole Miss Rebels in attendance.  John Jerry, Shay Hodge, and Dexter McCluster have all been touted as rising professional prospects.  Furthermore, Dexter McCluster has been confirmed by the Scout writers as a tough, badass lil' bastid who won't be denied anything (touchdowns, a spot on an NFL roster, meatball subs, etc.).

Top 25 Rankings: Preseason College Top 25 | Baseball America
The Rebels come in at number 24.  Respectable, sure, but atypically low for Ole Miss baseball preseason rankings.  However, I don't really see much justification for ranking Bianco's boys any higher so it'll do for now.

New Offensive Coorinator Rumors....
Will not be published.  We won't believe any old news station out of wherever-istan.  We just won't.  More on this later today and we will only say "so-and-so is our new offensive coordinator" once it's official.

Red Cup Radio
If you missed it last night you missed out on the most unintentionally humorous episode of our podcast EVAR.  The show was your typical "blabbity bla bla One Man and Ghost talking about nothing" show until a very, very interesting special guest decided to call in.  Seriously, the show was only 35 minutes so give it a listen, even if you're only tuning in to the last 15.
