I've always wanted to do that. Anyway, just to keep you updated with the weekend in Rebel athletics, the Rebels have taken their second SEC series and the first SEC series held in our new(ly renovated) digs.
Behind a hot fifth inning in which all of the Rebels' runs were scored and a lights-out pitching performance, Ole Miss claimed a 5-2 victory over the visiting Alabama Crimson Tide.
Jake Morgan legitamized the cries of many of our fans to have him serve as our squad's primary closer by striking out the side in both the 8th and 9th innings. "Dominating" hardly describes Morgan's pitching performance this afternoon.
