Basketball Transfer?

Today, the CrepePaperBlog reports that we will likely see a transfer to round out the class (since we have 6 scholarships available and only five signees who are expected to qualify). I went on the rivals transfer tracker and searched through all the big men. Here are the ones I would be satisfied with getting.

Curtis Kelly - 6'9" - UConn
Him being on this list is based solely on his five-star ranking. Obviously, he hasn't done well at UConn (barely even played). Still, he's 6-9 217 (or at least was coming out of high school). Usually 5-stars are not just complete and total busts. He has to have SOME talent.

Julian Vaughn - 6'10" - Florida State
As a freshman, he came on very slowly at Florida State. However, in the ACC Tournament against UNC, Vaughn's stat line was seven points (3/3 and 1/2) and three boards in twelve minutes. That's not bad against a final four team (especially for a freshman).

Malcolm Thomas - 6'8" - Pepperdine
I know. It's Pepperdine. They suck. Well, Malcolm Thomas doesn't suck. He averaged 12.5 ppg, 8.8 rpg, and 2 bpg. In his first college game, he registered 22 pts, 8 rebs, 2 blks, and 2 stls... against Oregon. I'm sure we have no connection at all to him... but it's fun to fathom.

Scott Martin
- 6'8" - Purdue
14 pts and 4 steals against Clemson. 7 pts and 7 rebs against Michigan. 14 points and 6 boards against Ohio State. He would be serviceable.

Bryan Bouchie - 6'10" - Valpo
Did Ok against bad competition. Went off for 20 points against Washington. Would be serviceable.
