RedCup already retweeted me on this, but one of my favorite things about baseball is its ability to hint at possibly exciting outcomes in time for me to pull out my iPhone and turn on camera mode. Because of this, I took some shoddy (but early) footage of Senquez' beautiful tap, Wahl's run, and the welcomed error by Florida that led to our upsetting of the nation's best baseball team. Pretty exciting stuff, and it's up there with the 2008 cotton bowl, Warren's 3 vs. Kentucky, and other recent rebel victories for which I've been proud to be a participant.
Definitely worth a listen...
"To get blue-chippers to bypass the SEC powers and want to take a chance to Ole Miss, you've got to have coaches with a gimmick, such as proven, wide-open, take-no-prisoners offenses."
"We saw a better, more explosive offense with Mackey in the game, but expecting a duplicate performance this week would be like expecting the cast of Jersey Shore to be invited back to Italy after what we’ve seen in Season 4." -Chris Low
That's some quality writing, Chris!
This article compares Leach and Malzahn and concludes that it's too close to call who's better. The article is referring to Maryland's coach search that ended in the hiring of Randy Edsall so it doesn't apply directly to Ole Miss, but it's still interesting.
