let the meltdown ensue.
Seriously? There's no way this ends poorly...
Interesting read from ESPN on a landmark game in the civil rights history of college basketball that, frankly, I was completely oblivious of.
Mark Dodson Jr signed financial papers with Ole Miss today. He signed with the Rebels over Vanderbilt, and he will be enrolled and on campus for the Spring Semester. The link is to his post-signing interview.
Money quote: "You think the guy’s a little off. Then you have a chance to talk to him and you realize, 'Oh yeah, this guy’s a little off,'" defensive tackle Dwan Edwards told the Observer.
Robert Nkemdiche decommits from Clemson?: That's the rumor. You would have to think Ole Miss would be... bit.ly/Z2HHIX #247Sports

Neal McCready of Rivals.com just posted this as well on the message boards... He's not the kind of journalist to post something of this magnitude on a whim... Most people would tend to think his next stop would be Ole Miss. Is it a coincidence that he is coming to visit with his entire family for the Vanderbilt game? I think not...
For those that haven't heard, students staged an unruly protest on campus last night after Obama was reelected, burning campaign posters and shouting racial epithets. Only a week after the 30-for-30 documentary on the integration crises ran, national media is now picking up a story on "race riots" at Ole Miss. I've been through the Col. Reb controversy, the SWRA debacle and a 16-game conference losing streak, but I've never been more ashamed of my school.
A Q&A with Nkemdiche the Younger's mother who was in the country for one of his games. She wants her sons to play together but she isn't pressuring him.
This link takes you to ESPN's video hub where you can see the first few minutes of "Ghosts of Ole Miss", which is scheduled to air on ESPN Tuesday night. I strongly believe that this movie will be a good thing for Ole Miss. It will have its painful moments for sure, but in the end it will show the progress that has been made. It is my belief that this progress defines us more than any of the mistakes made by past generations ever will. Enjoy.
