2014 NCAA College World Series: Ole Miss Rebels vs. Virginia Cavaliers OPEN THREAD

Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports

The Rebs are finally back in Omaha, and we're here to celebrate.

After years of waiting and coming so, so close on far too many occasions, the Ole Miss Rebel baseball team are finally back in Omaha, Nebraska for the College World Series. In a somewhat interesting repeat of history, our Rebels will once again face the UVA Cavaliers as a part of the NCAA postseason. UVA, as we mentioned in our preview, is one of the top teams in both the Atlantic coast Conference and the whole of college baseball. This will be a very tough out for the Rebs at this point but, hey, you don't come to Omaha to play a bunch of slouches. If you wanna be the best, you've gotta beat the best.

So, whether you're in Omaha taking the festivities in live, at a sports bar with a group of some of your fellow Rebels, or at home plopped in front of your television, join us in the open thread below. Today's a historic day for Ole Miss baseball, and there's not a better way to spend it than with other baseball fans.
