A Letter and Request from a Chicago Native and Notre Dame Fan

[ED: I made some edits so that it reads better, Jim. I hope you don't mind.]

Hi Guys and Gals,

My name's Jim March. [ED: Hi Jim!] I'm a teacher from Chicago and I intend on visiting the SEC this fall. In 14 weeks I will visit 14 SEC home games, and will write a book on the football culture of die-hard fans.

I only know a little more than the Cliff's Notes on Ole Miss football, being as how I watch just one SEC game a week normally, but I'd love to know what it's like being a Rebel fan and get your guys overall views on the following:

  • The state of your program
  • The public scrutiny surrounding the 2013 recruiting class (I don't care one way or another and am not looking to antagonize anyone, just want to know what the vibe is within the fan base)
  • The emergence of Robert Nkemdiche and Laquon Treadwell
  • and the Grove

Thanks in advance, and I'm lookin forward to getting to know y'all.

-Jim

[ED: You're welcome, Jim!]
