Time to make some bold predictions. Last week we predicted how our Rebels would fare against the Vanderbilt Commodores. This we focus on an FCS opponent, the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks.
However, before we make our bold predictions we must first decide which of us came the closest last week.
Donte Moncrief is held to a relatively low yardage/TD total... but it frees up Treadwell, who has a big day.
Moncrief didn't necessarily get "fed;" however, he did have a profound impact on the game, allowing for Treadwell to have his big day.
Bo Wallace throws 0, ZERO, Zilch interceptions
It's not like he didn't try his damnedest. Two Vandy players could have snagged INTs.
Jordan Holder has 3 catches off the bench
Jordan Holder had a significant contribution to the Rebs' scoring drive, let's hope he continues to contribute.
2 Missed field goals by Ritter.
2 Blown assignments give Vandy 2 easy TDs.
Ritter missed 2 FGs. Jordan Matthews to scored on a screen and Scheu scored on a blown coverage. Never go against the rule of 2. Never. It's science, bitch.
Freesus decides to send RNK into the game as fullback.
While it was a fake punt, RNK did run the ball from where typically a fullback would align. Plus, he totally bulldozed his own man. Kudos.
Treadwell has the most catches and yards because of double teaming on Moncrief
Connor has a pick
Two predictions that are spot on. Good call.
There were simply too many 35-38 score ranges to decide based on score alone. That fact indicates that even on opening night we had an idea that our offense would have little trouble finding the end zone.
Now, time to make your SEMO bold predictions. And remember, go bold or go home.
