Those of us who have not been hiding under a rock for the last month or so are aware of the fact that tomorrow is the second Christmas of the South--College Football's National Signing Day. This is the day in which the masses of crazed, drooling super-fans (stalkers, psychopaths - six in one, half a dozen of the other) finally get the answers they've been longing for these past several months. Hearts will be broken and bridges will be burned burned, with hearts and bridges being the closest breakable/flammable objects to a person in some instances. Hell, Billy Wayne may literally burn down a local bridge. The point is that people are going to go absolutely insane tomorrow.
I want to know two things:
1. I know most of you either have work or you're in college and IF you get up that early, you'll go to class, but if you fall into neither category and have made plans for the morning, please share.
-Two of my friends, one of which is a Bulldog, and I are getting up early and morning drinking until around lunch time. Then, later in the day, we're going to a bar (yet to be determined) to watch the basketball game.
2. What are your final predictions as far as the top recruits (considering OM) are concerned?
-I'm predicting we land Nkemdiche, Tunsil, Golson, and Jones. Bold, I know. I think Tony Conner, who I thought was a lock just a week ago, will sign with Bama. I just have a bad feeling about him.
Let us know what you think, and remember to have a Merry Signing Day.
ED: Hey y'all. Ghost here. Also, I would like to mention that we're going to be jam-packed with content tomorrow. We're going to have a signing day open thread, constant updates from the Cup and SB Nation throughout the day, and a list of signees which we hope to keep as up-to-the-moment as possible. We're also recording an episode of Red Cup Radio tomorrow night and - don't forget - covering the Ole Miss vs. State basketball game. It'll be a heck of a Wednesday, for sure.
