Best part of the week. Time for you to make some bold predictions.
Last week we made some predictions on what we believed our Rebels would accomplish against the Texas Longhorns. I’ll review a few of the more accurate guesses after the jump. This week we play the Tulane Green Wave. This being the fourth installment of bold predictions, y'all know what to do. Make your predictions and stick with ‘em.
THE REVIEW:
About that Texas game right? I don't believe any of us predicted 66 being put on the Rebs; however, despite the blowout a few of us Cuppers made some accurate predictions.
Rebs score 31
-Pretty much everyone
Many of us decided if the Rebs were to drop some points on Texas, this score would be the magic number. With a little help from Jaylen Walton, the score was met.
Speaking of Mr. Walton..
We return a punt or kickoff for a touchdown
-Johnny Rebellion
He made the play of the game in my opinion. After many of the students had left the game fearing a blowout, Jaylen decided to give the dedicated few a glimpse of something truly special.
2) We finally make a field goal.
-the ghost of traditions past
Nothing but the bottom of the net.
Our secondary gets exposed after damn near getting exposed by UCA and UTEP.
Wallace throws a pick-six.
Texas builds an early double-digit lead and holds it for the majority of the game.
-HandsomeSam
The most accurate predictions. So, you win. I guess. Where the hell is the fun in that?
These are just a few of the more accurate predictions I came across while writing this one up.
Tulane Predictions:
1. Donte Moncrief gets 100 with 2 TDs
2. Jeff Scott goes for 150 AP yards
3. Channing Ward gets 2 sacks
Bonus: I'Tavius Mathers scores his first TD
Final: Rebs 42-14
Those are mine, now make yours. I'll see y'all in New Orleans. Hotty Toddy.
