By most accounts, Bo Wallace looked pretty good until the very end of the scrimmage, throwing two interceptions over his final two drives. Brunetti wasn't better, throwing two picks of his own. Both also completed fewer than 50% of their passes. Ouch.
Depth chart still work in progress | The Clarion-Ledger
Even after Saturday's scrimmage, there are still plenty of question marks as to who will get the starting nod on the offensive and defensive lines, at receiver, and in the defensive backfield. Some of that has to do with injury, some of it has to do with older players adapting to a new system, but most of it has to do with there simply not being enough standout skill or depth to solidify a two-deep right now. By the way, the biggest question mark - quarterback - doesn't seem any closer to a resolution.
Ole Miss Announces 2012-13 Men's Hoops Slate | OleMissSports.com
Obviously we've got the already tough slate of SEC opponents, which now includes Texas A&M and Mizzou, but the Rebels also play in the Diamond Head Classic (potentially against Arizona, Miami, and San Diego State), against Mississippi Valley State, Coastal Carolina, and Rutgers. Kinda ho hum, I know, but I don't think there are any real RPI killers there.
Moving Forward Together | OMSpirit.com
The M-Club Alumni Chapter of the Ole Miss Alumni Association is apparently changing the meaning of their name. The "M" in "M-Club" may mean "Mississippi," but they should probably change that to "million," as in the million dollars they just gave to the Forward Together capital campaign. That is the second seven-figure donation to the campaign in the past few weeks, adding some real momentum to the quest to expand Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and build a new basketball arena.
