Evan Engram Commits to Ole Miss
Evan Engram, a three-star tight end out of Powder Springs, Georgia, committed to Ole Miss on Thursday morning. Engram (6'3" 210 lbs.) is considered to be a "hybrid" tight end. Simply put, he's fast enough to be a big time threat in the passing game, and he has the catching ability to do some damage in Freeze's offense. Engram's stock has been rising as of late, but he stated that he is firm in his commitment to Ole Miss, regardless of any other offers he receives. As of now, Engram has offers from schools such as Navy, Wake Forest, and Air Force, and it is rumored that a UCLA offer is on the way. With the graduations of Jamal Mosley and Ferbia Allen coming after the 2012 season, Coach Freeze is most likely taking at least two or three tight ends in this class. Congratulations on being the first of them, Evan.
