Want to start off by saying I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter. I saw that Thile posted a fan post about Rebels in the Majors a few days ago, but not sure if he planned on giving weekly stats, so I'm gonna give it a whirl. I am going to try to do this every Sunday (as long as people give a damn) but forgive me if I miss a week. And as the season goes on, i cant promise I will do weekly stats, might just be their stats to date. There are currently 7 Rebels in the Majors and their stats will be below the jump.
Drew Pomeranz (Colorado Rockies)- currently on the AA team but is scheduled to be called up on April 15th. Not sure why they are doing this but expect Pomeranz to be in the Majors by the 15th.
Zack Cozart (Cincinatti Reds)- He went 6 for 11 this week (.545 avg) with 2 doubles, 1 triple, and 1 HR with 2 RBIs. Has 1 K and 1 BB in 3 games. He was either a single or double shy of the cycle earlier this week. Not sure which one he was missing.
Chris Coghlan (Miami Marlins)- he went 1-5 (.200) with 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 K, and no BBs in 4 games.
Seth Smith (Oakland A's)- he went 3 for 7 (.429) with 2 RBIs in 3 games.
Lance Lynn (St. Louis Cardnials)- 1-0 in 1 start with a 1.35 ERA. 6.1 innings pitched with 8 Ks, 1 BB and an Oppenent average of just .095.
Alex Pressley (Pittsburgh Pirates)- He went 3 for 9 (.333) with 1 RBI, 1 K, and no BBs in 2 games. He hit a walk off single against the Phillies earlier in the week.
Matt Maloney (Minnesota Twins)- 1.2 innings pitched (1 appearance) and gave up 2 ERs with a 10.80 ERA. 1 K, 1 BB, and opponents are hitting .286 against him.
