Marquel Combs (DT) of Pierce Community College in California gave a verbal commitment after the Grove Bowl.

Originally from Memphis, Combs reportedly didn't start playing football until his senior year of high school. Rivals hasn't given him a star rating, but Combs (6'3, 305) has an impressive list of offers.

According to this article, he had 32 tackles last season (10 of them for a loss), along with 2.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries - and one mean alter ego. Combs reports that he will sign in December.
