Hugh Freeze's reaction to the 2013 schedule. - Derick E. Hingle-US PRESSWIRE
With the Southeastern Conference releasing the 2013 football schedules today, Ole Miss' schedule for next year is now available.
Alright y'all, get your travel plans ready and your season tickets purchased, because next year's schedule is here. Check it out.
- Aug. 31 at Vanderbilt
- Sept. 7 Southeast Missouri
- Sept. 14 at Texas
- Sept. 28 at Alabama
- Oct. 5 at Auburn
- Oct. 12 Texas A&M
- Oct. 19 LSU
- Oct. 26 Idaho
- Nov. 9 Arkansas
- Nov. 16 Troy
- Nov. 23 Mizzou
- Nov. 30 at Mississippi State
So we will host Texas A&M and travel to Alabama again next year, the reasoning for which I'm sure is crystal clear but escaping my currently severely limited thought process (it's midterms y'all, I'm running on fumes). We'll also get LSU in October, but not on or near Halloween. It's a compromise, I guess. We've also got two bye weeks - one in between the Idaho and Arkansas games and another between the Texas and Alabama games.
How do you feel about the Ole Miss schedule for next year? Is it too tough? Too easy? Too strange? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
