Only problem with this statement is.....
State has at least one player on the 49ers, Ravens and Patriots. The Giants are the only team that does not have a bulldog on it.
Think Eli has something in his contract that gives him decision making over state players making the roster?
Only problem with your statement is...
it is based on of the same ‘this is OUR state’ inferiority complex that is engrained in Starkville. This quote is an acknowledgement of the accomplishments of Ole Miss and its alumni. It does not have to be some piece of propaganda aimed at one-uping State. It is possible for both schools to have successes that are not mutually exclusive. Good for them and their former players, but that has nothing to do with this.

i think the 4 ole miss players listed are also starters as well.
