Cordarelle Patterson Officially Visiting Ole Miss Today, Robert Nkemdiche Unofficially
Did you want a grainy, poorly-shot highlight video set to a track popular ten years ago? Well you're in luck!
One of the most highly rated Junior College prospects (five-star on Scout and 247, four-star on Rivals) is taking an official visit this weekend to Ole Miss. He is the lone official prospect visiting Oxford this weekend, leading this bloggeur to believe that Hugh Freeze and staff are making Patterson's recruitment a top priority.
Patterson has a load of upside. His size is tremendous (6'4", 205lb) and his speed is enough to make him a true deep ball threat. He is said to be physically dominant over his defenders and to have the football acumen and hands to make the difficult catches. It is because of these factors that he is generally considered the top offensive prospect coming out of junior college this year.
He has long been considered an SEC lock, having been heavily recruited by Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee, and Georgia. Based on that, I'm having a difficult time picturing him signing his LOI with Ole Miss, but perhaps - and this is a stretch - the recent commitment of Bo Wallace, the #1 Junior College quarterback for this past season, could have an impact on Patterson's opinion of Ole Miss.
Also visiting, unofficially, is Rivals.com's #1 overall high school prospect for 2012-13, Robert Nkemdiche.
How do we know this? His brother, Denzel, who tweets almost as often as he breathes, said so.
allhaildiche_1 coming to the crib tomorrow doe! :)
At least, I think that's what he meant by that. If true, let's hope Robert enjoys the Victorian, Georgian, and revivalist architecture dotting the streets of Oxford's neighborhoods; the quaint, quirky feel of Square Books; the genteel aire of Nielsen's and Hinton and Hinton; the sublime and innovative, yet traditional, dishes of Bouré, 208, and City Grocery; and CoWbOy MaRiO at the Library Y'ALLL!!!!!

Randy Moss?
He’s built like him and sports the #84, hopefully he doesn’t carry the on the field demeanor of him. He would be a great weapon for Wallace.

they don't call these "hightlight videos" for nothing
remember Moss at motor city bowl, what an arrogant jerk, and will never forget the fumble and Duece td
The word on Patterson is
that he really liked his visit here and he’s now taking us serious. Before the visit he said that he didn’t know much about Ole Miss and he only came to see the pretty ladies that he heard about. He came for a visit and, of course, he was impressed with the women and he noted that most of the women weren’t even on campus much. He said he’s taking us serious now and our biggest competition is said to be 1) Georgia and 2) Auburn. The wild card is LSU but he hasn’t visited them yet and he has one visit remaining so that’s what makes them the wild card. If he doesn’t use his last visit then I’d say we stand a pretty good chance with him since we’d be the last school he saw
Let's not put the apple cart ahead of the bushes.
I hope he picks us, but I just don’t get a good feeling on the kid. I think he’ll pick Aub or LSU at the end of the day.
He did mention that he wanted to see about our QB situation. With Wallace already on board, If Liggins signs on the 30th and solidifies our QB depth, it can only help with CP.
He is tripping to LSU FWIW
hopefully the seemingly pass-happy scheme we will run will be an enticement. Word is he got to sit and talk with Bo Wallace, FWIW as well
Just another "good for nothing law school grad".

"The Ice Man cometh!"
Yeah, a lot of stuff people put on Twitter is indecipherable gibberish.
Forgive my misinterpretation.

Sports are chaotic and stupid; and we're bad at them.

At first
It sounded like he was taking an infant hunting with him. I guess those English classes haven’t paid off yet.
