PrintFor yet another offseason, it is summertime. Fireworks, cold beer, smoky barbecue, and bikinis define the time. We're having fun, and we would like you to as well. While our Autumn weekends will be engulfed in the conflagration of college football fandom, those of our Summer will be fun and varied. As such, we Cuppers would like to share with you our Summer weekend plans, along with the weekend plans of a few others of note, in order to hopefully give you ideas as to enjoyably bide your time until kickoff.
Simon and Garfunkel - Homeward Bound
Nick Brassell - living up the hype.... paging Pat Patterson, Chris Strong, and..... CJ Johnson? (ok.... so it's a little early for that....)
Houston Nutt - getting excited about an expansion that won't be completed until long after he's dead :-(
Terrell Brown - writing home about his zany adventures in Liliput Oxford
Juco - (Attending and then later) [t]alkin' 'bout practice with EtOHReb and alcopaul
The Ole Miss coaching staff - getting pissed at EtOHReb for taking notes at an open scrimmage... really...
Ghost - Eatin iCe CrEaM!1
Michael Thompson - No one's sure exactly, but promoting the hell out of it
Dan Mullens (sic) - not existing
Michelle Bachmann - just kidding.... we're not that kind of blog
Hugh Kellenberger - having a name that everyone wants to morph into a sandwichy one; hopefully getting the whole EotC joke
A&M - trying to join the SEC
Oklahoma and Missouri - pleading to be pulled away from the Texas Longhorns Conference
So those are our plans. What are yours?

Doing a little Crootin
Taking my cousin who’s a senior in high school to Oxford for the first time. I figure once she sees the campus we’ll hear no more talk about TCU. I know once I saw the campus of TCU I never talked about it again.
Going to Saturday’s scrimmage and watching the Senquez Golson and SEC expansion sagas.
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains.
I swear
If Boston steals Senquez away,
I will root against them for the rest of their existence.. Or mine, whichever comes first.
