I thought about ending that with a question mark - Zack Cozart finally called up? As this article did before the update

- Yonder Alonso, a teammate of Cozart’s at Triple-A Louisville, has confirmed that the shortstop is on his way to Milwaukee. The move should be made official before Thursday night’s game.

But it does appear that Cozart is now a Cincinnati Red...

Cozart appears as if he's getting the call by the Reds before Thursday night's game against the Brewers, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Spin:  We haven't had official confirmation from the Reds yet, but in addition to the Enquirer article, we've seen tweets from his Triple-A Louisville teammates congratulating him on the promotion.

 

I was going to include another update as I did previously but thought I would go ahead and post this about Cozart and a couple minor updates...

 If you're on twitter, and do not follow @patrickochs he does provide some good information along with @chaseparham of Rivals.  He posted an article with links to all of the Rebs out there - Keeping up with the Rebels.  It included former Rebs, current draftees, and others.

Lance Lynn has been pitching really well in relief for the Cards - hitting mid-nineties with his fastball (95, 96) consistently.  He's had one bad outing, and had one exellent - 2 IP and 5 K's vs the Orioles.

Alex Presley has also been off to a good start with the Pirates, hitting .325 with a HR and 2 SB.

Scott Bittle has actually appeared in a minor league game (GCL Cards):  0-1, 27 ERA, 0.2 IP, 2 BB.

On the other hand, Stephen Head has been off to a pretty good start for the Rocks; he's been called up (A- to A) to the Asheville Tourists; overall Head is 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA, 1.22 Whip.  

I know it is kind of a dead period between sports, so I may go back and update this with some other players - or if there is someone you're curious about I'll update with that too.
