Pierce Burton, a three star JUCO offensive tackle prospect that visited both Ole Miss and Florida last weekend, committed to the Rebels on Wednesday. His other offers included Florida, Kentucky, Texas Tech, West Virginia, and several others. It was believed that Burton favored several other schools, including Florida, over the Rebels, but Freeze iced Burton's interest in schools not named Ole Miss. Burton has the size and experience to be our starting left tackle of the future so this signing should be considered Freeze's biggest recruiting coup thus far.
