None other than the venerable  mental institution the Ole Miss Spirit (well, the message board anyway) is reporting that the Cup is tweeting that Ole Miss has hired Kirby Smart. I hear this and run over hear for confirmation and see no mention. Assuming you jackwads are not so lazy you would only tweet this and not make a blog entry about it, I will assume one of the following:

1. Spirit readers do not understand what twitter is or how it works and are just posting something they heard from a State buddy at the coffee shop. "OMG I also heard Tony Dungy is coming with Peyton as his OC and Joe Lee Dunn fresh out of a Delorean from 1992 with Cassius Ware as Co-Defensive Coordinators! Punt the cat'd! 

2. State fans have taken their envy to a whole new level and created "fakeredcuprebellion" on twitter (which if they haven't would be a marvelous idea for someone on here with more time on their hands than me).

3. You guys tweeted: A source told us this, we have no way to confirm, but wanted to throw out what we heard unlike Chuck and Yancy who wait until everybody on the internet knows something and then they post on their board, "Well, we knew all the time but we didn't want to leak anything." If we're not paying them for Ole Miss scoop, what are we paying them for? Threads that inevitably end up in grown men meeting behind the Shoneys in Tupelo to fight over whether Obama is a Communist or just a Socialist?

4. You have made a blogpost about this in the time I've wasted from work writing this.
