Did that headline grab your attention? It did? Good, you're going to hear it from me first this is how the rest of the season will go down. We will win the next 2 games against Kentucky and LA Tech and find our identity of what we do well, meanwhile the Alabama and LSU game (aka The Battle at Helms Deep) while very exciting to watch will leave LSU minus a few stars due to injury.

We will be riding a tidal wave of confidence into the game led by fellow Louisanans Randall Mackey and Brandon Bolden, it's a home game, the atmosphere will be electric, and Coach Nutt and the staff will pull out all the stops to win this game. We will upset LSU, steam roll Mississippi State and play Southern Miss in the Liberty Bowl and end this season 7-6. Don't be surprised when the shit goes down exactly like I just called it.

Love the optimism too.

We always seem to hang with LSU. BUT this year for opponent pass plays of 15+ yds, LSU’s secondary has more interceptions than opponent completions. Unless Mackey stops under throwing deep receivers, that does not bode well for us.

But if we make it to a bowl game, that would be a huge success for the 2011 season.

For the record,

I got all excited/irrational, and I voted “I’m with you” when I was balls deep in bourbon the other night. Nevertheless, I’ll stand by my vote and hope your prediction is halfway fulfilled going into the LSU game.
