Because it's a block from where I'm staying, roomier, closer to the Superdome (just under a mile away on Tchoupitoulas and Girod, due south about 10 blocks), closer to the Quarter, and apparently also open pretty damn late (ASIDE: I was somehow misled into believing that the place closed at 11. They stop serving food at 11, but I think you'll survive. I know better than to assume any place in New Orleans has the gumption to just up and close before two or three so, yeah, I'm an idiot. Suffice it to say that it's been a long week folks and I'm just tired and ready to get my ass down to the Crecent City.) we are moving the afterparty from the Avenue Pub to Lucy's. This is a good change. Trust me on this one.
So what sayeth the Cup? See y'all there after the game? Midnight-ish?

12 or so.
It’s a 20 minute walk (just under a mile) per Google. A cab would get you there for like 6 or 7 bucks including tip.

this may have been addressed already, but espn has the game at 9. are they gonna have it on delay or just pop in after the first hour?

on my tv guide ( in jackson) it has the game coming on at 9 on espn2

I don’t know then. ESPN’s website has it starting at 9 Eastern on ESPN 2.
There's a darkness on the edge of town.
The first half is on ESPN classic at 8 pm Central time then it flips to ESPN2 when Oregon UT goes off.
