Did we forget who we were dealing with? Its the guys at the friggin NCAA.

Although the NCAA is flagrantly showing it’s ass right now, the team was prepared for this. We’ll appeal and maybe we’ll win. Even if we win, the defense will still to be our best asset, and Nate Stanley will still (my opinion) start against Vandy. If we lose on appeal, the D will still be our biggest asset, and Stanley will start against State.

With all the bullshit that’s gone on this offseason, this fall was always going to be an uphill fight. This setback could be big, but, regardless of the outcome, it should bring the team even closer together. We’ve got a sweet “nobody believes in us” thing going here.

I really hate this for Jerm; but right now I’m more fucking pumped for Rebel football to start than I was this morning. FTW

why use us as precedent?! get rid of the loophole instead of using us as precedent to close it!

Was exactly was Masoli’s legal status? I know there were no felonies, the laptop thing was knocked down to a misdemeanor and the pot possession was essentially the equivalent of a speeding ticket. But was he on any kind of probation? I knew there were questions of whether he could even leave Oregon. Now that he can’t play, say just for example he withdrew from the grad program. Would he have to return to Oregon to serve out his probation period? Sorry, I’m law-dumb.
