Once again, it's summertime. Fireworks, cold beer, smoky barbecue, and bikinis define the time. We're having fun, and we would like you to as well. While our Autumn weekends will be engulfed in the conflagration of college football fandom, those of our Summer will be fun and varied. As such, we Cuppers would like to share with you our Summer weekend plans, along with the weekend plans of a few others of note, in order to hopefully give you ideas as to enjoyably bide your time until kickoff.
Our song of the week? Live and Let Die
It's in honor of dead mascot applicant Mojo.
Mascot Selection #2: The Bear - being confused when coaches put a jersey on him that says, "57"
Tig Barksdale - watching Rocky IV and trying to decide if he will be the Apollo Creed or Rocky Balboa to our Ivan Drago. Then doing some lines of coke. Rehab works, my ass.
Houston Nutt - love my team, great bowlers, all of 'em. We're going to start a league team called the Pin Pals, that's a pun, HA! Maybe it's a homonym, I don't know, but I don't want any of them on my team. Leviticus is against it. We're lookin' sharp in practice, our defense is like a pair of meat shears ripping through our chicken cutlet offense. Tasty offense marinated with blend of herbs and spices. Love Newks, great pizzas. Jeff Scott, love his feet, fast mover, right left right left, like pistons firing in a '69 Camaro. Great car, plenty of leg room, but tremendous pick up, always wanted one. Dri-fit polos, sweet tea, big time hit factories, Don Decker, loving church, horses.
Pete Boone - So excited about his contract extension; really going to splurge on a celebratory dinner for him and the Missus.
Dan Mullen - Surprised to find out that Pete Boone loves Red Lobster too!
Petal High School – opening an $8 million football stadium by getting destroyed by South Panola, 56-0. Congrats. Peria Jerry's mom immediately purchases the stadium after the game is over and shits on the fifty yard line while whistling the theme to "The Jeffersons."
Mahmoud Al-Za-complainstoofuckingmuch – spending Andy Kennedy's money on a new beaded seat cover.
