Tuesday Question - 05/04/10
Generally, we are the "authors" of "content" around here - "here" being a blog and not a message board. Recognize, we do, that you've come here not to contribute, but to consume. Nevertheless, there is the sporadic occasion where, either for our benefit or for to exercise the thinkifiers of the masses, we ask you a question. Today's question is ...
How closely will you pay attention to Clemson basketball in two years?
No Ole Miss player in my memory has transferred away from the school with such a sense of laud and appreciation as Murphy Holloway did when he announced last week that he was moving closer to his daughter back in South Carolina. Usually, the "damn that sucks" chorus is just a little louder than the throng of those who enjoyed watching a guy play and just want the best for him, or else Malcolm White transfers to LSU and the Cup runneth over with anger!!!!!!1!!
But that's not the case here. Murph is the man. He will continue to the man. Even at Clemson. Couple that with pretty similar athletic identities (what-sketball?), and I know which horse I'm picking for the ACC Championship in 2011. In much the same way that I kept open a little place in my heart for West Virginia during the Pat White era, Davidson during the Stephon Curry era, and Oregon during the Joey Harrington era, I think I'll have a little sports crush on Clemson during the Murphy Holloway era.

None.
Still don’t care about them.
I feel no desire to cheer for them simply because one of our players transferred there.
Plus, it’s difficult enough for me to care about/watch our own basketball team. Caring about another team in another conference is out of the kwershtun,
Pig Pen this here's Rubber Duck, and I'm about to put the hammer down.
End of the Season
I’ll pay attention when the conference tournaments start and in the rest of the post-season. I would also watch a game if there were no other sports being played by my teams.
I won’t have to watch as many games of Clemson basketball as possible though.
I'm a Rebel, but I bleed the cherry and silver of the Lobos.
Depends
on whether or not we’ve absorbed Clemson into the SEC in the upcoming Great Conference Realignment.
If we have, I’ll pay them a little bit of extra attention. Otherwise, I won’t care if ESPN doesn’t.
And here's a lighthouse keeper being beheaded by a laser beam!
Post Courier says we wouldn't release him to South Carolina.

I won’t go out of my way to follow them but if they’re on tv, i’ll probably watch
